FAQ

Tracking, scans, and reports — the short version.

Using Etrack

What is Etrack?

Etrack is a workspace for following federal and state legislation. You can look up bills and statutes, save what you are watching, run scans, and publish reports, pages, and posts from templates.

Who is it for?

Legislative, government affairs, and advocacy teams that need a current picture of bills and a clean way to brief stakeholders.

Bills, scans, and tracking

How do I find a bill?

Open Laws & Bills or Laws & Bills Viewer and search by number or keyword. You can also start from a scan and keep the bills that match.

What is a scan?

A scan searches the legislative corpus for the keywords or issue you set, then lists matching bills so you can track them or drop them into a report.

What does tracking save?

Tracking keeps the bills you care about in one list, with status and a short note so you can see what changed without searching again.

Reports and the editor

How do report templates work?

Templates are example layouts — briefings, fiscal notes, status updates. Open one as-is, or take it to Scans so your results fill the same structure.

Can I publish a page or a post?

Yes. The editor also has webpage, social post, and email layouts. Save finished work to My Library and reopen it later.

Where do I get help?

Use the Contact page. The address there is a placeholder until a real inbox is connected.
